| The Tyngsborough
Middle School was made possible and created in April of 2002,
with the opening of the New Elementary School. Prior to this time,
our building was known as the Norris Road Elementary School (grades
3-6). In 1968, our building first opened as the site of Tyngsborough's
very first high school! So you can see that our building has a
lot of history. The Tyngsborough Middle School of April of 2002
contained grades 5, 6 and 7. In September of 2002, the T. M. S.
became home to grades 6 through 8, and this is the grade configuration
that continues today. Presently, there are approximately 540 students
attending this school. This year mark our second full year as
the Tyngsborough Middle School and we're looking ahead for great
things!
This web site was
first launched in February of 2003. As it develops, we hope it
will become a useful tool in providing information to students,
parents and everyone else who is interested in what takes place
here at the TMS.
